- P Raut and M Meshram has been dropped in this series.
- They have added two new players, D Vaidya and D Hemalatha.
- D Vaidya is a veteran allround player who last played in Sri Lanka for WC Qualifiers.
- She looks in really good touch by scoring century in Practice Match.
- D Vaidya is a top order Allrounder and also a leg spinner. She is expected to give a nice boost to India's overall performance
- She is expected to replace V Krishnamurthy for obvious reasons.
- Rest all the players are expected to retain their spots.
- Rodrigues and Mandhana, both are in exceptional form, are expected to open. Followed by M Raj.
- J Goswami and P Yadav are expected to lead the bowling attack.
- S Pandey and P Vastarkar will retain their role as bowling Allrounder.

ENG-W:-

- A Shrubsole was spotted in Practice Match, she seems perfectly fit and even took 2 wickets.
- She is expected to make a comeback.
- H Knight, who missed Tri Series finale due to injury, is still not fully recovered and will not play today.
- Coach said in the beginning of tour, young talent is expected to get more opportunity.
- In the absence of H Knight, B Smith is expected to make her ODI debut.
- As usual, T Beaumont, D Wyatt and N Sciver are expected to handle the top order
- J Gunn and A Shrubsole will be their front line seamers.
- N Sciver is one of the best Allrounder in the women's cricket. Obvious choice for Captain.
